For Susana Sawoff and Raphael Meinhart, the answer is: music. As the artistic duo EXIT UNIVERSE, they have found each other again. Their debut album Because the World is Round gives sound to the unique connection between these two individuals – across thirteen songs, a finely balanced sonic world unfolds, full of emotional depth and touching intimacy.
Their music floats between jazz, indie, and neoclassical, evoking comparisons to artists like Nils Frahm, Steve Reich, or Radiohead. With vocals, piano, vibraphone, marimba, percussion, and glockenspiel, the two Austrians weave soft, clear, and enchantingly beautiful melodies.
For this concert, they will be joined by Jörg Haberl on drums and Georg Hartwig on bass – a formation that has never been seen before. A true world premiere!
